Seasonal Workshops

All our workshops are friendly, relaxed and creative, there's no prescriptive floristry where you copy a design and are given the 'ingredients' and everyone makes exactly the same thing you are free to make your own selections from everything we have on offer so even though everyone has the same 'ingredients' they will all make something different and unique to them.  No experience is needed, demo and full support should you need it are provided throughout and we are able to tailor workshops to support any additional needs.

Private workshops for smaller groups are available if you'd like to come to us or us come to you.

Corporate workshop bookings available all year round and for all occasions - great for wellness/self care.  For winter/Christmas we can run a luxury wreathmaking workshop for your staff and/or clients and also include a team building exercise for everyone to come together and make a large wreath or garland together too which can be proudly displayed in your office.

SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER

10.00 am to 12.00 pm - The Head Gardener's Cottage near Central Bark

Bring your bestie and take a little delve into floriography, the language of flowers to make a friendship bouquets.   £45 pp

1.00-3.00 pm  - The Head Gardener's Cottage near Central Bark

Join us to make  a beautiful summer arrangement with fresh, seasonal flowers from the farm and arrange them into a vintage brick mould using sustainable mechanics.  If you already have a brick mould from a previous workshop we can offer a discount for rebooking.  £55 pp

SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER

10.00 am to 12.00 pm or 1.00-3.00 pm - The Parsonage overlooking the lake

Floral pumpkin decorating workshop with a trio of homegrown pumpkins in graduating sizes.  The pumpkins will be uncut so there will be no odour, mould or mess and you will make your own choices of flowers, seedheads and grasses to make either  vertical  or surface arrangements £38 pp

SUNDAY 25 OCTOBER

10.00 am-12.00 pm or 1.00 to 3.00 pm - The Parsonage overlooking the lake

Autumnal besom broom decorating workshop.  Besom brooms are steeped in history and tradition, symbolising protection, cleansing and new beginnings.  Join us to decorate a large, full size besom broom using dried flowers and natural materials to create a unique, seasonal decoration for your home.  £65 pp

SATURDAY 22 & SUNDAY 22 NOVEMBER, FRIDAY 27 NOVEMBER,  TUESDAY 1 DECEMBER, SUNDAY 6 DECEMBER

Christmas/Winter wreathmaking.  You will moss a wired frame to make your wreath base and add a selection of the most fabulous foliage from the park's own pinetum and grounds.  Dried flowers, seedheads from the farm which have been grown over the summer and a selection of metal bells including larger trending 'cowbells' in golds, coppers and silver tones along with red and green painted ones in a more Nordic style.  Traditional and more contemporary colourways are available along with dried fruits, natural and 'frosty' cones, raffia or ribbons (including velvet) £55 pp

SATURDAY 19 DECEMBER

Make a festive table centrepiece using a hardwood, vintage brick mould with the most fabulous foliage from the park's own pinetum and grounds, dried flowers and seedheads from the farm which have been grown over the summer and a selection of metal bells including larger trending 'cowbells' in golds, coppers and silver tones along with red and green painted ones in a more Nordic style.  Traditional and more contemporary colourways are available along with dried fruits, natural and 'frosty' cones, raffia or ribbons (including velvet) and a tapered candle.  Sustainable mechanics which can be reused £55 pp

SATURDAY 17 OCTOBER 

The Workhouse and Infirmary at Southwell

Join us for a pop up drop in pumpkin decorating workshop at the Workhouse and Infirmary at Southwell, Notts on Saturday 17 October no booking necessary  - homegrown pumpkins are available to pick up from the site for a donation and we will have some lovely dried flowers, grasses and seedheads, etc to make a fabulous vertical or surface arrangement with your pumpkins -  priced as to your chosen design and on the size of the pumpkin!  With the pumpkins being uncut, there's no odour, moulding and they will stay fresh and looking fabulous for October and beyond!  £4 small, £6 medium, £8 large

Join us at a venue of your choice (up to 30) or in the workshop at the farm (4 min, 8 max) and spend a relaxing couple of hours with us making your own fresh flower arrangement - vase/container, hand tied bouquet, planted or foliage wreath, candle table centrepiece or flower crown.  We  will give a  demonstration and help will be provided throughout should you need it but there's no prescriptive floristry copying a design you'll be free to choose your own 'ingredients' from a selection of  traditional or modern, less conventional colourways so it's a creative, fun experience.  Our style is a natural, more wilder look.  A little later on in the season you'll be able to pick your own flowers from the tunnel or field too.

We are fully insured for up to 30 people  and can provide you with a risk assessment.  We can also tailor workshops to suit the needs of the group.

Hot and cold drinks are available along with homemade cakes/bakes or even an afternoon tea  - you can even choose your favourites! (we are 5 star hygiene rated).

From August to October a private PYO will be available and can be booked for groups - min 6..
