About Our Tributes

All our tributes are completely bespoke, seasonal and not chosen from pictures in a catalogue so they are as special and individual as you are and really mean something. They are all made by hand by Liz, who will the person you will meet and/or speak to in order to decide what type of tribute you would like and the colours.  If it is difficult for you to get out we are able to also visit you at home and if you'd like to, you are very welcome to come and look what flowers we have growing in the field during the spring/summer months and choose your own.

There are a few different options we can offer for casket sprays and wreaths:

• Homegrown, natural flowers and foliage
• Bulbs, plants (annuals or perennials) and foliage
• A blend of plants, flowers and foliage.
• We can also include favourite plants and flowers from your own gardens.
• Tributes containing jam jars of flowers which can be taken out and used at the wake/shared with family/friends (2-3 ft casket sprays only)

The casket sprays are made on a palm leaf/bamboo base with sustainably sourced UK moss (under licence) or from the field and jute twine.  They're fully compostable and can be made into sections so these can be divided up between the family and taken home (3ft + size but not jam jar option),  placed on other graves or whatever else you have planned.  In the case of the plant/bulb options the sections can then be planted in your own garden/s to live on there as a lasting memento.  

Our wreaths and crosses can be made on a mossed, wired frame or a fully compostable handwoven willow or willow and birch frame.  Heart, star and chaplet shapes are available on a mossed and wired base (the wired bases can be recycled).

All our tributes contain rosemary as in Floriography (the language of flowers from Victorian times), this signifies remembrance, love and loyalty.  Rosemary has been used as a symbol of love too since Ancient Greek/Roman times and also been seen as a sign of protection.  We also offer rosemary corsages (with/without flowers) and rosemary sprigs tied with twine or ribbon for mourners to place on the coffin.  We can also provide a sprig of rosemary to the funeral directors or yourselves for this to be placed directly with the deceased.

Potted rosemary plants in terracotta pots are another option to give out to family members/ mourners so they can plant these with love in memory of the person who has passed.  We can also add personalisation to the pot or add a personalised ceramic heart with a short message or name of your choice to these.

All tributes will be delivered to the funeral directors for you unless you want to collect them from us (and we will  contact  them and make all the arrangements for when to do this so you can rest assured that the tribute will arrive  safely, looking its best and in plenty of time before the service).  With every tribute being made individually, we can also send a picture to your mobile phone when this is complete on request to make sure you are happy with everything and don't want to make any changes.

We offer free consultations and can show you what flower/foliage options there are available.  In the summer months you can wander through the field with us and choose the flowers you'd like to use or we can pick a selection for you if you prefer.  In the winter, we will provide samples of the foliage,  fresh flowers and dried flowers we have available.
