About Us
Who are we?
We are a husband and wife team - Liz and Andy, who love growing really beautiful, sustainable, natural, scented British flowers, herbs and foliage (and our own fruit and veg!) just outside Thurcroft, Rotherham.
As the flowers are homegrown they are super fresh, have a fabulous, consistent high quality and are a world apart from the usual supermarket offerings. We pick our flowers daily and condition them overnight, they don't spend days in crates or flying half way across the world and they aren't laced with pesticides, dyes and preservatives so they are better for you and the planet.
To keep overheads to a minimum, we don't have an add on 'shop' function currently on our website but all payment methods are accepted. We can accept cash or card in person or send a SumUp payment link, QR code or bank transfer details if you're wanting to pay remotely.
We offer everything a High Street florist does but without the shop and we use our own flowers rather than imported ones doing so in a more environmentally friendly way with no plastic or foam using kraft paper wrapping, paper tape and recycled acid free tissue paper. Jam jars and wrapped bunches of flowers can be delivered too as an inexpensive treat to yourself or others:

- Table centrepieces for parties/events/baby showers
- Funeral tributes - foam free casket sprays, wreaths, venue flowers - fully biodegradable and part compostable options

WE ALSO SUPPLY WHOLESALE BUCKETS OF FLOWERS DIRECT TO FLORISTS
If you're a local business, we can supply you with regular beautiful flowers by the bucket to arrange yourself or we can do this for you in vases/arrangements or we are happy to supply local shops with bunches and bouquets of flowers on a commission basis.
Why choose us?
We care about our little piece of the planet and sustainably grow natural, pesticide free flowers using the heat from the sun and water direct from our borehole or water catchment. We use regenerative farming techniques and leave large 'wild areas'. for wildlife.
You can see the difference this and not using pesticides makes to the wildlife on the farm - the flora and fauna is truly flourishing and you can smell the difference too with the perfume that fills the air from the freshly cut, naturally scented flowers, herbs and foliage.
We are members of Flowers from the Farm/Association of Specialist Cut Flower Growers, the award-winning membership association championing artisan growers of seasonal, scented, locally grown British cut flowers. Their network stretches across the whole of the UK and puts you in touch with flower farms near your doorstep.
We are also members of the Farewell Flowers Directory who are championing that there’s another choice in farewell and sympathy flowers, one which is more natural, meaningful, beautiful and completely free of plastic or floral foam. The directory links you to a network of independent funeral florists who work from conversations. They will listen to your ideas, stories and memories, and translate them into unique and compostable flowers which reflect a life whilst treading lightly on the planet.
Pick your own flowers weekends, workshops, exclusive use bookings
We will have a more regular PYO in 2024 for you to come and pick your own flowers, enjoy the space, stay and have afternoon tea, cakes/hot/cold drinks and have a look at what we have growing (we are 5 star hygiene rated). You can also buy gift vouchers for PYO.
We host wellness events for Bliss Retreats - details on their and our websites/social media.
We also offer exclusive use of our space (5+ acres) to small groups to reconnect with nature and the beautiful outdoors. Enjoy a homemade bite to eat, wander freely around the flower field for your very own group PYO, join us for a flowery activity of your choice - wreath making, kokedama, flower arranging, flower crowns, etc. We can also offer additional crafting activities such as pressed flower art, pot painting and planting along with meditation, mindfulness, beauty treatments etc.

We are open seven days per week mid-morning until early evening and can arrange collection/delivery any day of the week including bank holidays. One day's notice required ideally but if you're lastmin.com we'll do our best to help at short notice!
If you'd like to spend some time discussing flowers for a funeral or wedding please just contact us to make an appointment - you can come to the farm workshop to meet us or we can come to you if you prefer.
We have a self serve pop up stand at the gate which is seasonal but now open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting from mid-morning until early evening.
