About Us
Who are we?
We are a husband and wife team - Liz and Andy, passionate about growing beautiful, sustainable British flowers, herbs, and foliage (along with our own fruit and vegetables!) just outside Thurcroft, Rotherham.
Our flowers are homegrown, ensuring they are super fresh and of consistent high quality, standing in stark contrast to the usual supermarket offerings. We pick our British flowers daily for you and condition them overnight. They won’t spend days in crates or travel halfway across the world; plus, they are free from pesticides, dyes, and preservatives, making them healthier for both you and the planet. Each bouquet is unique—there’s no production line here!
For payments, we can accept cash or card in person, or we can send a SumUp payment link/QR code for remote transactions.
We provide all the services of a High Street florist, but without the shop, using our own sustainable flowers rather than imported ones. Our environmentally friendly approach includes no plastic or floral foam and features kraft paper wrapping, paper tape, and recycled acid-free tissue paper using water-based dyes, along with raffia or ribbons.
Our offerings include:
- Hand-tied bouquets
- Stunning arrangements in vases, vintage brick moulds, footed bowls, urns, etc.
- Bunches, filled mason jars, or jam jar flowers
- Flower cart hire for events/workshops
- Funeral tributes such as casket sprays, wreaths, and sheaves, all plastic and foam free, with fully biodegradable and part compostable options.
- Weddings - We offer a comprehensive floristry service, including bouquets, buttonholes, and venue styling, with setup and takedown options. You can also choose to go 100% DIY with our flower buckets or enjoy a 'pick and mix' service to customize your needs.
- Floral workshops and wellness events
- Exclusive use of our space for private parties, allowing for PYO flowers combined with workshops that include refreshments or lunch.
- PYO on selected dates in late summer.
We also supply wholesale buckets of flowers directly to florists.
If you run a local business, we can provide you with regular supplies of beautiful British flowers by the bucket for you to arrange yourself, or we can create beautiful arrangements in vases for you. We also welcome local shops to stock our bunches and bouquets on a commission basis.
Why choose us?
We care deeply about our little piece of the planet and sustainably grow British flowers that are naturally pesticide-free. Our commitment to regenerative farming techniques means we refrain from using synthetic chemical fertilizers and maintain large 'wild areas' for wildlife.
The difference this approach makes is evident in the thriving wildlife on the farm. The flora and fauna are flourishing, and you can truly experience this while attending our floral workshops, where the air is filled with the delightful perfume of freshly cut, naturally scented flowers, herbs, and foliage.
We are proud members of the Farewell Flowers Directory, advocating for an alternative choice in farewell and sympathy flowers—one that embraces the beauty of British flowers, is truly meaningful, and completely free of plastic or floral foam. This directory connects you to a network of independent funeral florists who engage in heartfelt conversations. They listen to your ideas, stories, and memories, translating them into unique, compostable flowers that reflect a life while also promoting sustainability. Additionally, many of these florists offer floral workshops, allowing you to learn about sustainable flowers and their environmentally-friendly practices.
Pick your own flowers weekends, workshops, exclusive use bookings
In 2026, we will host a PYO event where you can come and pick your own British flowers while enjoying our outdoor space, allowing you to connect with nature. We’ll share the dates for this floral experience on our socials, likely occurring in late August and September.
Additionally, we offer exclusive access to our beautiful 5+ acres for small groups looking to reconnect with nature. Savor a homemade bite to eat, freely wander through the flower field for your very own group PYO experience, and participate in our floral workshops, including wreath making, flower arranging, and crafting flower crowns. You can also explore additional crafting activities such as pressed flower art and pot painting, as well as enjoy mindfulness sessions or beauty treatments, all while embracing sustainable flowers in our serene environment.
